The Siebentischwald is THE local recreation area in Augsburg. Very close to the city center, it's a mix between unspoiled nature and beautifully landscaped paths and rest areas - and home to some enchanted places. Grab a bike and come along on a journey off the beaten path! We'll start at the fountain called "Schaetzlerbrunnen" and take a nearly 2km tour through the forest along scars and ruins from 2nd Word War, lonesome biotopes, lakes and rivers (which are part of Unesco World Heritage). We'll experience Augsburg's mystical history from the Middle Ages to the present day. At the end we will return to the starting point eat and drink at the organic beer garden "Parkhäusl". After each spot there is a small task to solve.

Where the tour leads

Schaetzlerbrunnen - Dürrenastheide - hydroelectric power station at the Lochbach - back to the beer garden at "Parkhäusl". The tour follwos small paths throug the forest and across meadows. So you should not be afraid of the wilderness ;)
